Food served in Hotels

These were the hotels we stayed at during the trip.

All meals (breakfast/lunch/dinner) were provided for during our trip. Most of our dinners and breakfasts were eaten in the hotels and served in buffet style.  Take a look at the buffet spread for breakfast from some of the hotels we stayed at.

These were the kind of salads served.

These were the kind of desserts served.

Soups were served daily for breakfast and dinner at the hotels.

They were made of lentils or beans and sometimes flavoured with tomatoes.

Most of the food on display were not labeled. And if there were, they are written in Turkish language. Most of the staff there do not speak in English, so we were not able to check with them. So, it was difficult to tell what were being served.

Most of their local desserts were too sweet for us so we had to skip eating them. I tend to eat what I am familiar with.  So, without fail every morning I ate two eggs with bread and butter.  If you are picky about what you eat, it is best to bring some cup noodles and MREs, like I did.
